What would your hotel save?
Set your hotel's numbers. The estimate uses published research on room energy controls and India's grid figures. How it is worked out
₹15.3 lakh
estimated saving a year with Leo room control, likely between ₹11,44,757 and ₹19,84,245
- Units saved a year
- 1,69,594 kWh
- Saving per room a year
- ₹12,720
- Cut in room cooling energy
- 37%
- CO2 avoided a year
- 114 tonnes
- Same as switching off the AC in
- 36 rooms
An estimate from your inputs, not a quote. A site survey gives a measured figure for your property.

How it is worked out
For each room we take the energy its AC would use running through all its cooling hours for a year: the AC's average draw (1 ton 1.1 kW, 1.5 ton 1.6 kW, 2 ton 2.1 kW) times the daily cooling hours for your climate (hot all year 12 h, hot summers 8 h, mild 4 h) times 365.
Occupied rooms. Room control eases the AC back while the guest is out. We count a saving of 25% of their cooling energy, the low end of published results: 24–58% in a nationwide simulation of large hotels, and about 29% in a measured-data study of guest rooms.
Unsold rooms. Without room control, we assume unsold rooms are cooled half the time. Unsold-room mode, set from the PMS at check-out, removes 80% of that.
Rupees and carbon. Units saved times your cost per unit. Carbon uses India's grid emission factor of 0.675 kg of CO2 per kWh (FY 2025-26). The range shown runs from 75% to 130% of the central estimate.

About the estimate
Where does the saving come from?
Mostly from rooms that are cooled with nobody in them: unsold rooms, and occupied rooms while the guest is out. Room control sets those rooms back automatically, and puts unsold rooms into a low-energy mode from the PMS.
Why a range and not one figure?
Savings depend on your climate, how far the temperature is set back, how your rooms are used and your equipment. The range covers what published studies and real hotels report.
Does it count lighting too?
No. The estimate counts room cooling only, which is the largest share. Lights switched off when the key card leaves the slot add to the saving.
How do I get a figure for my hotel?
Send the estimate to us. We look at your bills, room types and occupancy, and give you a measured figure after a site survey.
