Doorbell with Do Not Disturb and Make Up Room lamps, outside every door.
The panel housekeeping reads before they knock. The guest sets Do Not Disturb or Make Up Room from inside; the lamp outside and the front-desk screen change together, and the doorbell is muted while DND is on.
